The Padaria Ribeiro (SOCOPÃO - Padaria e Confeitaria, Lda.) Internal Reporting Channel allows you to securely and confidentially report infractions you become aware of in a professional context, ensuring legal protection for reporting persons.

Legal framework

This channel complies with Portuguese Law No. 93/2021, of December 20, which establishes the General Regime for the Protection of Reporting Persons and transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

What can be reported

You may report infractions covered by Law No. 93/2021, namely corruption and related offences, fraud, conflicts of interest, harassment, discrimination and other legal violations covered by this regime, which you became aware of in the context of your professional relationship with Padaria Ribeiro.

Who can report

This channel may be used by current and former employees, job candidates and people undergoing recruitment, service providers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, interns and volunteers, shareholders and members of administrative, management, supervisory or oversight bodies, and any other persons who became aware of an infraction in a professional context.

Anonymity and confidentiality

Reports may be submitted with identification or anonymously. If you choose to identify yourself, your identity is kept confidential, with access restricted to the team responsible for receiving and handling the report. The identity of the reporting person and of any third parties mentioned in the report is protected under the law.

Protection against retaliation

Reporting persons who act in good faith and have serious grounds to believe the information reported to be true are legally protected against retaliation, including dismissal, changes to working conditions, disciplinary sanctions, discrimination or any other form of unfavourable treatment motivated by the report.

How to submit a report

Reports may be submitted in writing through the form below, or verbally - if you would prefer to report verbally or request an in-person meeting, please contact us via the email listed on our Contacts page, identifying yourself only to the extent you wish. Where possible, describe the facts objectively and in detail, including dates, locations, people involved and any other relevant information.

What happens after a report is submitted

Reports are reviewed confidentially by the team responsible for receiving and handling them. If you leave contact details, you will receive confirmation of receipt within 7 days. You will be informed of the measures planned or adopted to follow up on the report, and the reasoning behind them, within a maximum of 3 months from the date of receipt.

External reporting

Submitting a report through this internal channel does not affect your right to submit external reports to the competent authorities, under the terms provided for in Law No. 93/2021.
